Based on 695 reviewsSavera Indian Kitchen in Irving, TX, is widely appreciated for its authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine, particularly its diverse breakfast and biryani offerings. Reviewers frequently highlight the quality and taste of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with special mention of items like ghee roast and traditional curries. The restaurant is also noted for its clean environment, well-curated menu, and efficient service, making it a favored spot among locals. While the lunch hours offer a more relaxed dining experience compared to the busier evenings, the consistent food quality and variety attract repeat patrons eager to explore new menu options.
If you’re someone who loves starting the day with a hearty, flavorful meal, Savera offers the good non-vegetarian breakfast experience that’s guaranteed to delight your taste buds almostThe highlight of the spread was the Poori with Chicken Curry and Mutton Curry. To complement the meaty delights, there were crispy Mysore Bondas and Medhu Vadas, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with a peanut chutney and piping-hot sambar. To round off this indulgent breakfast, I savored a cup of perfectly brewed filter coffee a quintessential South Indian touch. The combination of bold, flavorful curries, crispy snacks, and the rich, comforting coffee made for a truly satisfying morning meal. If you’re craving a breakfast that’s both indulgent and authentic, this place is not to be missed!I have been here for lots of times for breakfast, biriyanis and all but they are stingy with chutney in recent times, and Ofcourse a little expensive compared to next one.
Veg dump biryani was best. I love it .
Amazing food. Tried dosa, noodles , chicken pulao and paneer pulao.Every thing was 10/10.Will try again with more new foods
One of my new favorites in Dallas. Was expecting little less cleanly, over stuffed menu but surprisingly it is clean, very good menu items and relatively fast service. You gotta try their ghee roast chef’s picks. Lunch times are not as overcrowded as dinner and evenings.
Vegetarian dum biryani is best . 10/10 . I am addicted to this place food. Love it
We live nearby and have been frequenting this place since it started, for breakfast or an evening snack. We have never had a bad meal. The idli & dosas are very tasty, especially the sambar and chutney that come with it. The filter coffee and irani chai are amazing. The place is usually very crowded so don't go if you are expecting a high-end service or a quiet atmosphere. But this place is worth a try for the food. Biryani is only average but their pulav is amazing.
We tried the Palnadu chicken pulao and ghee roast chicken pulao—Palnadu had great flavor with the right amount of spice, while the ghee roast was delicious too. The non-veg thali was average, but the puri and chicken curry were excellent, with the puris being incredibly fresh. The punugulu were tasty but a bit oily. The orange juice was the best I’ve ever had—perfectly sweet. The okra fry was outstanding, unlike anything else!
I love the pulao at this place and I always come here for it. My friends and I absolutely enjoy the taste and the way they make it. Whenever I feel like eating pulao, this is the spot I come to. My buddies and I always go for the mutton fry piece pulao, the gongura goat pulao, and the chicken pulao everything here is awesome. Since I’m a red meat lover, I usually go with the goat pulao!!
